One and only Bali tollway, the Bali Mandara Toll Road will be transformed into a green tollway as a part of preparation of the International G20 Summit. This seventh prestigious summit is scheduled to take a place in Nusa Dua, Bali in the late October 2022.

The G20 is a strategic intergovernmental forum that connecting the world’s major developed and emerging economics, which address several major issues related to the global economy, such as sustainable development, international financial stability, and climate change mitigation. There will be delegations from 19 countries and the European Union (EU) will attend to the summit. 

Bali Mandara Toll Road will be the main transportation infrastructures that will support the conference as this tollway is connecting Ngurah Rai International Airport, Sanur, South Kuta, and especially Nusa Dua. The world leaders and more than 7,000 participants are expected to pass through the toll road and will get positive impression about the green transformation of toll road, and it can be a part of good news in G20 summit that shared to the broader world. The Bali Mandara Toll Road itself has been blessed with the magnificent view of sea and mangrove surroundings. The upgrading will enhance its scenery more magnificent.

Good News! Bali Reopens to International Travellers

Bali has officially re-opened its international borders to foreign tourists. Bali government has lifted the quarantine to foreign nationals from 43 countries, such as Australia, USA, Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Germany, Laos, Malaysia, Mexico, Myanmar, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Poland, Qatar, Seychelles, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, UAE, UK, and Vietnam. This country’s visa on arrival policy has been expanded from 23 to 43 countries.

For other requirements, those travellers also have received a second dose of vaccine against COVID-19 and still must produce a negative Covid-19 test result taken 2 x 24 hours prior to departure. The government conducts the reopening in phases after achieving the high vaccination rate and monitoring the decreased of COVID-19 spread in Bali. Before this new policy applied, the early reopening only allowed Australian travellers to visit, but still required five days of quarantine.

Since the new policy, many famous international airlines are lining up to fly to Bali, such as Jetstar, Singapore Airlines, AirAsia, Qatar Airways, Virgin, and more. Many accommodations have been back to business as well as many tourism places reopened. Furthermore, Bali will also host International G20 Summit, which is scheduled to take a place in Nusa Dua, in the late October 2022. It brings a hope to boost this Island’s economy again in tourism sector.
